Flamed

Produced by exposing the stone to high temperatures, this finish is flat enough for flooring, though there may be irregularities and some amount of flaking on its layer-like surface. The flamed finish makes surfaces slip resistant, while at the same time dulling the original colour of the stone and creating unique reliefs on the surface.
